How to find blogs without nofollow

One of the nice things about Followtopia is that it makes it very easy to find a variety of websites to create backlinks for seo. However, lets say you wanted to specifically find blogs that you could post comments on and link your site. (Please only find relevant topics to post. We don't want to increase comment spam.) You could try your search as follows:

search terms comments

This will give a list of blogs and other sites that allow comments, and of course the ones with nofollow will be highlighted so you can skip them. One problem you could have, however, is that pages with no comments whatsoever may add the no follow tag to your comment. To avoid this problem you can search for only for blogs and sites that at least have a comment already. Thus our new search string would become:


search terms comments -"0 comments" -"no comments" -"comments (0)"

With this string we have added all of the ways that blogs show they have no comments. (there may be others too, and you can just add those ways with a minus in front).

Finally, you want to filter out sites that the subject matter is only about comments. To do this you can add to your string -intitle:comments. So the full search string becomes:

search terms comments -"0 comments" -"no comments" -"comments (0)" -intitle:comments

There you have it, a simple way to find lots of blogs that are do follow and relevant to your webpages. And the nice thing is that all of the blogs you find currently do not have the nofollow tag.
